Bedbug Prevention

Bedbug Prevention

Bedbugs are stubborn little beasts. They are a growing problem in Canton and across the United States, and experts are unsure of the safest way to go about exterminating these pesky insects. The federal government recently rejected Ohio officials' request to use an industrial pesticide to fight household infestations of bedbugs. Bedbugs can live for up to a year without a meal, but they normally try to feed every five to 10 days. Although they are not known to transmit disease, they are extremely hard to eradicate, depending on the severity of the infestation. Some species of the pesky insects have been shown to have developed a resistance to pesticides.

Bee / Wasp Prevention

Bee / Wasp Prevention

If you live within or around Canton and are experiencing bee or wasp issues, call us today. Wasps are known to become aggressive when provoked, and bees may become agitated if they feel their home is being threatened. Because bee allergies are not uncommon and wasps can be very aggressive, our bee and wasp control experts are highly trained and able to provide you with aid within several hours. If you encounter a wasp nest or bee hive within the area, call us today, and we will take care of the issue within a day.

Termite Prevention

Termite Prevention

Termites feed on wood, and can, therefore, destroy a building in a relatively short amount of time. Because there are so very many of them in a nest, termites can cause constant, consistent damage at all hours of the day and night. The hidden nuances that cause up to $5 billion a year, termites can wreck havoc on your home or business, making the structure completely unstable and making your home or business an unsafe environment. These insects can maintain a single colony up almost 2 million, all constantly working their way through your building's support and structure. Because they work underneath the surface, termites are an issue that is often undetected until too late.

Rodents/Mice Prevention

Rodents/Mice Prevention

We have been a trusted part of Canton and the surrounding areas for a number of decades, and our reliable and efficient pest control will keep us that way for years to come. We handle almost every kind of pest you can think of: rats and other rodents, flies, moths, bees and most other kinds of insects and arachnids. We excel at what we do, giving both residents and business owners alike the peace of mind of knowing that "the problem is taken care of." Our services are additionally attractive when it comes to rodents, as we use both family and pet-friendly methods.

Carpenter Ant Prevention

Carpenter Ant Prevention

These ants range from dark brown to yellow, and are characterized by their tendency to find moist or wet wood, and pack damp sawdust against it to further and hasten the rot. These ants infest areas near water, like leaky plumbing areas, but are also found in soil, door frames, wood beams, and crawlspaces.

Mole Prevention

Mole Prevention

While they are often confused with rodents such as mice and rats, moles are actually mammalian insectivores and maintain completely different habits and diets than those for which they are often confused. There are several different kinds of moles, with the most common in North America being the eastern mole. Moles are harmless in nature, and only a nuisance to gardeners, those that practice lawn maintenance and both home and business owners, because of the havoc they can wreck on lawn appearance.

Hobo Spider Prevention

Hobo Spider Prevention

Spiders are some of the absolute most aggressive spiders to encounter and are often confused with other kinds of spiders due to their general appearance. They are brown with no markings at all, and can grow to between 11 to 14 mm length, not including legs. The female spider maintains a larger abdomen than the male.

When a client inquires about a professional pest management service, many times the first question is how much the service will cost. However, no two homes or two pest problems are exactly alike nor are two pest control companies exactly the same.

Inexperienced applications of over-the-counter pest control products are usually ineffective and can also be unsafe for pets, children and adults if used improperly. Also, most pests return unless you take steps to prevent them. In as little as 60 days, new infestations can develop.

By the time you make the decision to look into pest management services, you have most likely tried it by yourself. While store-bought solutions can kill some pests, they are not very effective at providing continuous prevention from re-infestation (you've probably found that most pests are relentless). Typical homeowners lack the time and expertise to handle specific pest situations that are encountered in and around your home or office.

Our first priority is the safety of our customers, as well as being good stewards of the environment. "Caring People — Careful Solutions?" means that we take the time to develop a customized pest control program and use strategic targeting, which enables us to use the least amount of pest control product while providing superior results. All materials are EPA approved and all technicians are trained in the safe handling and application of all materials.

All our job applicants are required to pass a series of interviews and background checks (which include criminal and drug tests) before they are even considered for employment. All technicians go through on-the-job training with a highly experienced trainer for the first month. Within the first 75 days, we send them to a registered technician school offered by the state of North Carolina. All of our employees are friendly, professional and know that our first priority is safety.

Information for Canton, Massachusetts

Canton , town (township), Norfolk county, eastern Massachusetts, U.S., lying just south of Boston along the Neponset River. Settled in 1650, it was known by its Algonquian name, Punkapoag, and was part of Stoughton. Separately incorporated in 1797, it was renamed because of the local belief that the town was antipodal to Canton (Guangzhou), China. It was an early industrial centre; Paul Revere established a gunpowder factory during the American Revolution and built (1808) the first copper rolling mill and brass works in the United States. The Canton Viaduct, a stone arch bridge that spans the Neponset River, was constructed in 1835 as part of the rail line connecting Boston and Providence, Rhode Island, and it remained in use in the 21st century. The town is mainly residential. Services account for a large share of employment, but light manufacturing is still important. Canton is the site of the Massachusetts Hospital School (1907), and MassasoitCommunityCollege (1966) has a campus there. Pop. (2000) 20, 775; (2010) 21, 561.Town hall in Canton, Mass. John Phelan

The Termite Inspection

The termite inspection, also known by its official name, Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) Inspection, includes inspection for any and all organisms with the capability to destroy structures through wood damage. These organisms include dry rot, carpenter bees, fungus, wood borers and of course, termites. Your inspector will also indicate areas likely to attracts termites or other wood destroying organisms if left unfinished or unfixed.

Because of the significant damage termites can do to a structure without being noticed, our WDO Inspectors are trained and capable of examining your structure, determining the organism that caused the damage, and providing you with recommendations and options for the repair.

What to Do In Case of Infestation

Every situation is unique, and the treatment depends on the severity of damage, infestation, and location. Because there are so many variables in the case of termite infestation, our professionals work with you to find what solution suits your needs best.

We are a customer-oriented business, and therefore will never try to sell you more or less than exactly what you need. Our technicians will provide you with a comprehensive examination of your situation, make repairs based on the damage, and discuss your options moving forward. Our team will provide your home or your business with an individualized plan that includes actions going to be taken and products being used, to ensure you understand the process and know what to do in the case of future occurrences.

Orange Oil

Because only two termites are needed to start an entirely new colony, our team only offers what works 100% effectively, While orange oil has been marketed as the only termite solution needed, more often than not, there are much less expensive and more effective alternatives. Unless your situation calls for it, orange oil is rarely used by our professionals and is quickly becoming one of the least often used products of the industry.

Basically, it all comes down to one simple question: if orange oil is just as effective as advertised by those few select businesses, why is it not the most common and highly efficient termite solution for dry wood termite treatments?

Don't let your business's structure crumble: call us today , and one of our experts will help you with scheduling an appointment for your termite needs, of visiting us online to fill out a contact form.

Conducive Conditions for Termites

There are many ways to discourage termites in your home, especially with the utilization of these very helpful tips:

Make sure your gutters are in good condition.

Fill in cracks in concrete and eliminate attic entry points.

Avoid letting water touch the stucco or wood siding when watering your lawn.

Remove any and all wood stumps from around and especially beneath your building.

Be sure air vents are not being overgrown by shrubbery.

Keep plumbing in good condition.

Set up an appointment today to discuss your termite concerns and any questions you may have. Call us or reach out online through a form. Even one termite could be indicative of a massive problem, so let our experts take care of the possible infestation.
